Responsibilities

Conduct engineering/electrical feasibility analysis, electrical studies, and electrical design services on a variety of building types
Perform field inspections of government, commercial, industrial, multifamily residential, manufacturing, and institutional properties
Collect relevant information to help perform existing condition assessments, electrical one-line documentation, arc flash studies, and provide engineering recommendations for critical power upgrades
Help perform commissioning design review activities, construction verification, and field functional testing
Assist in electrical/mechanical design depending on project capacity

Required

Critical power and infrastructure testing and assessment
A professional degree in electrical engineering
An understanding of and experience with a variety of electrical distribution systems
Experience with medium voltage and low voltage power distribution
Familiarity with NFPA, NEC, NETA, and IECC standards
Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, Plumbing, IT/Com, etc.)
Site Survey and Analysis
Excellent report writing skills, computer and internet skills
Excellent communication and management skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to complete assignments on-time and within budget
Ability to utilize a variety of software programs to monitor, update, and produce work products by applying knowledge of computer literacy
Ability to exercise good interpersonal skills
BS in Engineering or related fields
PE Required with Commissioning Certification a Plus
