They are seeking an Intern in Information Technology to assist Project Managers in defining project scopes, timelines, and budgets while promoting best practices in project management.

Responsibilities
Assisting the IT PMO team with creating standards, documentation and running software projects
Promote best practice processes that ensure project success
Learn the fundamentals of project management and software implementation
Assist in setting up and facilitating project meetings and workshops
Document meeting notes and facilitate distribution of notes and other documentation
Understand and assist in implementing standard project templates and documentation. Includes helping create and update project plans, functional and technical design documents, reviewing and preparing test plans and testing scripts, assigning and following up on tasks assigned to other team members
Assist Project manager or Project lead in maintaining project timelines, scope and budget
Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
Analyze risks and opportunities
Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers
Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
Qualification
Required
Student actively enrolled in an approved Bachelor's program with expected graduation date of December 2025 through December 2027
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Proficient level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook
