Responsibilities

Lead the development of Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs), control narratives, specifications, network drawings, panel drawings, and instrument selection
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for a cohesive design
Contribute to the development and growth of people (e.g. mentoring junior engineers) both domestically and globally
Develop control system software in Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interfaces and perform facility startups and commissioning activities
Review constructions submittals, conduct site evaluations, make recommendations for control system upgrades, and communicate with clients and management

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited university or college
Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) or ability to obtain
Minimum of 10 years of experience
I&C Systems Integration design experience
Process & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) development
I/O list development
Instrumentation selection
Control panel layout and wiring
Detailed loop wiring diagrams
PLC equipment list development
Ability to mentor, train, and delegate work to others domestically and abroad
Ability to work outside normal work hours at times to coordinate with global team members
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

Water infrastructure Instrumentation & Controls Systems design experience
Experience with PLCs and HMI programming software
Experience with MCC and VFD control requirements
