Responsibilities
Lead the Evaluation & Benchmarking team responsible for developing the algorithms and tools necessary to thoroughly assess the autonomy system's performance throughout development
Work closely with internal users to understand their requirements and workflows and build a long-term roadmap for the team aligned with the company's milestones
Lead technical projects; contributing as an IC while also managing a team of engineers
Participate and share ideas in technical and architecture discussions, collaborating with researchers and engineers
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to offer guidance and constructive feedback to direct reports
Advocate and set patterns for software development
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 6+ years of industry experience including at least 2+ years managing high performing engineering teams
MS/PhD or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Robotics and/or similar technical field(s) of study
Experience working with internal cross-functional partners/stakeholders
Experience with system design/architecture and algorithms
Open-minded and collaborative team player with willingness to help others
Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions
Preferred
Experience in autonomous systems, robotics, and/or machine learning
Experience with large scale databases and analytics
Experience with data pipelines & workflow automation
Experience with evaluation & benchmarking of complex systems and/or large ML models
