Responsibilities
Will manufacture a variety of parts from metals and other materials using CNC equipment, including turning centers, vertical machining centers, etc
Program CNC machine tools using MasterCAM software
Ability to inspect parts manufactured
Qualification
Required
Trained machinist - preference given to candidates with 5+ years programming and operating experience with operating various CNC machine tools
Ability to machine a variety of materials to tight tolerances (+/- .0005)
Ability to read technical engineering drawings and specifications
Ability to use hand tools and measuring equipment
Efficient at tool and machine setup and changeover
Experience using MasterCAM software
Microsoft Office computer literacy (Word and Excel mainly)
Detail-oriented individual
