Blue Sky Hospitality Solutions is seeking a Director of Sales for the Holiday Inn West I-10 in Mobile, AL. The Director of Sales is responsible for leading the sales efforts, managing marketing initiatives, and building relationships to achieve revenue targets across various market segments.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals for rooms, meeting space, and ancillary services

Identify and target new business opportunities in key segments including corporate, SMERF (Social, Military, Educational, Religious, Fraternal), government, and group travel

Manage a proactive sales effort through direct outside sales, client appointments, networking, cold calling, and industry involvement

Prepare and analyze sales forecasts and reports to monitor performance and adjust strategies accordingly

Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and account records in the hotel’s CRM system

Work closely with the General Manager and Revenue Manager to establish pricing, forecasting, and marketing strategies

Represent the hotel at trade shows, community events, and industry associations to build brand awareness and relationships

Lead and mentor the sales team (if applicable), ensuring performance goals are met and professional development is encouraged

Ensure all sales and marketing efforts reflect the Holiday Inn brand standards and align with IHG guidelines

Collaborate with operational departments to ensure smooth execution of group business and special events
