The University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking a full-time fellowship-trained Movement Disorders Neurologist to join their academic neurology department. The role involves treating patients with various movement disorders and participating in teaching and research opportunities.
Education
Responsibilities
Join a thriving academic neurology department
Treat patients with Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, dystonia, and other movement disorders
Participate in clinical and some didactic teaching
Precept in resident clinic
Assist in the department's growth, the education of medical students and residents, and pursuit of other academic/research interests
Qualification
Required
DO or MD medical degree
board-certified or board-eligible in neurology
residency trained
licensed or willing to obtain a license to practice in Missouri
Preferred
interest in general neurology and open to sub-specialty in MS
Headache management
Neuromuscular disease
Dementia care
