Responsibilities
Monitor databases and related systems to ensure optimized performance
Support agile activities for systems including release planning, sprint planning, and retrospectives to gather and incorporate lessons learned into engineering processes
Model data to design local schemas, tables, data types, indexes, procedures and functions
Work with developers during the normal application development life cycle to build features that deliver value to our customers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and 5 to 8 years of Database experience
Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly
Database experience using MongoDB or MariaDB, Including: deployment and management of the database itself, debugging of optimization issues, scaling
Preferred
Python, Django or Flask
ReST Endpoint Development
Micro-Service Model
Swagger
AWS, C2S or other cloud experience
Docker
Visual Studio Code or similar IDEs, JSON and/or XML serialization
Jira, Confluence
Git version control
Experience working in Agile environment
