Bindery Cutter Operator
ENPOINTE is expanding their production team and is seeking a skilled Bindery Cutter Operator to set up, operate, and maintain cutting machinery for high-quality printed materials. The role requires precision, efficiency, and a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities
Set up, adjust, and operate cutting equipment (guillotine cutters, die cutters, multi-function finishing units)
Interpret job tickets, complete test cuts, and ensure accurate alignment, size, and finishing
Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and make precision adjustments
Perform routine maintenance, including blade changes and cleaning
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following OSHA guidelines
Collaborate with team members to meet tight deadlines and production targets
(For experienced operators) Lead small crews, monitor output, and optimize workflows
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
1–5+ years of experience operating bindery cutting equipment in a print or packaging environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with paper weights, cutting tolerances, and machine adjustments
Ability to read and interpret job instructions, tickets, and specifications
Physical ability to lift 50–75 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks
Detail-oriented with strong math and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
Preferred
Experience with other bindery operations (folding, collating, stitching, gluing)
Supervisory or leadership experience
