Responsibilities

Responsible for the preparation and execution of MR procedures

Warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff

Assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary

Assess patient condition

Produce good quality radiographic images

Ensure adherence to safety standards

Qualification

N.Y. State Department of Health IV CertificationARRT Advanced Modality certification - MRN.Y. State Department of Health X-ray LicenseAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists CertificationRadiologic Technology experienceDiplomaContinuing education credits

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology

Must obtain at least 24 continuing education credits every 2 years as per ARRT requirements

N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification

At least 1 year of experience in area of service

Preferred

N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification

ARRT Advanced Modality certification - MR
