Responsibilities

Build and improve clinical and health information extractors and summarization tools used in real-time by healthcare professionals
Scrape, collect, extract, transform, query, analyze, and mine structured and unstructured data to evaluate system performance, generate insights, and expand/refine a clinical knowledge graph
Build and enhance supporting data/AI/ML systems and automation pipelines
Write secure, production-grade code and help maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems in compliance with HIPAA and SOC 2
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to ensure platform reliability

Qualification

Required

7+ years of experience in AI/ML software engineering
Proficiency in Python, SQL, Jupyter Notebooks/Streamlit, Bash, Linux, and Git workflows
Strong skills in data munging, wrangling, exploration, and analysis
A sharp eye for designing scalable data models and intuitive software APIs
Ability to craft efficient algorithms and data pipelines, and troubleshoot bottlenecks quickly
Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation abilities
Up-to-date, practical knowledge of the state-of-the-art in AI/ML/NLP, including relevant tools and frameworks
