Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and GAAP
Provide leadership and guidance to teams managing general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, taxes, and fixed assets
Oversee month-end close, account reconciliations, and intercompany procedures for entities in the US, Canada, Mexico, and South America
Ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality completion of all financial close processes with a proactive, hands-on approach
Maintain, strengthen, and evolve internal controls to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements
Coordinate and actively participate in external audits, serving as a key liaison with auditors to ensure smooth and successful audit outcomes
Deliver clear financial analysis and actionable insights to support strategic business initiatives and decision-making
Identify, drive, and implement process improvements, automation, and digital solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Play a key role in major finance-related projects, including the global ERP upgrade to SAP S/4HANA
Build and sustain a collaborative, high-performance team culture aligned with FUCHS’ core values: respect, trust, integrity, reliability, and value creation
Align departmental objectives with corporate strategy, fostering professional development, mentoring talent, and promoting continuous improvement
Communicate financial results effectively to stakeholders and influence decision-making across the organization

10+ years of progressive experience, at least 5 of which have been as a leader
Manufacturing industry experience
