Responsibilities

Design and/or deliver an innovative new course in the General Education curriculum

Explore the intersection of computer science, math, art, and design

Engage with ethical and philosophical questions related to computational tools and creativity

Develop tactical computational skills and explore generative art, machine learning, and algorithmic design

Analyze how creativity intertwines with imagination, emotions, and innovation

Facilitate hands-on projects that reveal connections between artistic expression, mathematical principles, and scientific phenomena

Guide students in synthesizing their learning to harness computation as a creative tool

Collaborate with colleagues and consultants on curriculum development and refinement

Implement innovative and inclusive teaching best practices

Engage in course and program-level assessment design, data collection, review, and reporting

Attend teacher training and professional learning activities offered by SFBU

Participate in student-centered formative and summative assessments of teaching performance
