Responsibilities

Gathers and Analyzes Patient Information Testing Preparation Procedures: Prepares and calibrates equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning and make adjustments, if necessary
Polysomnographic Procedures: Follows procedural protocols to ensure collection of appropriate data
Polysomnographic Record Scoring: Scores sleep and wake stages by applying professionally accepted guidelines
Complies with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and standards regarding safety and infection control issues
Performs routine equipment care and maintenance and inventory evaluation
Participates in all Joint Commission mandated educational programs including, but not limited to, Infection control, Fire, Electrical and Hazard Safety programs annually
Maintains confidentiality of patient and program information
Responds to study participant's procedural-related inquiries by providing appropriate information

Required

Registered Polysomnographic Technologist within 18 months - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT)
One Year minimum Clinical experience required
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT)
Minimum of 2 years-Clinical (Required)
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)- (Required)
Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body

Preferred

Graduate from Specialty Training Program- (Preferred)
