Responsibilities

The In Home Service Tech travels to customer’s homes using a company vehicle to assess, repair, or exchange damaged furniture

In order to ensure customer satisfaction, the In Home Service Tech must listen to customer concerns in order to accurately address and resolve them

The In Home Service Tech must provide precise documentation of repairs done and future repairs needed to the service room

Must be working towards or have a high school diploma or GED

Must have a valid driver's license

High physical demands can be required

The employee is regularly required to stand for sustained periods of time

The employee can be expected to lift, push, and pull, both individually and as a team, items up to 150 pounds at times

The employee often operates power tools, including stationary power tools, in a safe manner

The employee must accurately match colors on finishes

The employee must adhere to safe lifting techniques, follow proper training for learned job hazards and ergonomic risk factors, participate in the departmental stretching program, and maintain an overall safe working environment

Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
