Responsibilities
Perform all core job responsibilities in the Central Processing Department
Receiving, sorting and decontamination of surgical/clinic items, flexible and rigid endoscopes and instrumentation
Inspection and packaging of single instruments and instrument trays
Identification of appropriate sterilization or high-level disinfection method and cycle selection
Appropriate documentation for all sterile processes
Complete training and education to advance to Tech II
Work between all processing areas as well as rotate shifts and work holiday and weekends
Work with instrument management systems and other related technology

Required
Under the general guidance and direction of the Central Processing Unit Manager
Trained to perform all core job responsibilities in the Central Processing Department
Core Sterile Processing functions include receiving, sorting and decontamination of surgical/clinic items, flexible and rigid endoscopes and instrumentation
Inspection and packaging of single instruments and instrument trays
Identification of appropriate sterilization or high-level disinfection method and cycle selection
