Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in relevant field OR
Associate's AND 3 years of relevant experience OR
4 years of relevant experience OR
Equivalent combination of training and experience
Experience in microbiology, molecular biology and/or bioinformatics research
This is primarily a research position, but some lab management responsibilities are also involved
Enthusiasm and ability to learn new skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Well organized and ability to multi-task to deliver on multiple targets simultaneously
Excellent communication skills
Work well independently and as a member of a highly collaborative team
Able to conduct research in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced research environment, occasionally with tight deadlines
Able to work independently and exhibit self-motivation
Preferred
Experience with oral bacterial and/or streptococcal genetics
Experience with animal models
