Required

Knowledge of local transportation planning processes and design standards related to bicycle, pedestrian, transit, and street design is a plus

Must be comfortable working with clients and members of the community/public in a variety of settings, from open houses to stakeholder sessions

Must have exceptional writing skills and be savvy with emerging technology to engage the public, including developing and maintaining project websites, online survey platforms, etc

Ability to interpret and apply planning and design guidelines and ordinances

Excellent computer, writing, and technical skills, including ArcGIS and the Adobe Suite

Self-motivated and passionate about transportation planning, accessibility and equity

Strong time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills

The ability to work with others, as well as independently

Responsible for completion of other efforts/projects as assigned

Applicants should be a current student or recent graduate of an accredited Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent in Transportation Planning, Planning, Urban Design, or related field

Preferred

Interest in comprehensive transportation plans, environmental review, and corridor studies is desired
