Responsibilities

Develop marketing and business strategies
Foster existing client relationships
Develop new clients and business to grow water market segment operations across the Northeast
Steer business development and service delivery of water/wastewater engineering groups
Lead water/wastewater engineers and manage medium and large water/wastewater infrastructure and treatment engineering design projects
Collaborate with the enterprise Water Market Segment Leader, Northeast Operations Managers, and Client Managers
Lead business development activities and pursue new clients and potential project leads
Prepare price and technical proposals and coordinate with other regional managers

Qualification

Civil Engineering DegreeNY State Professional Engineering LicenseWater/Wastewater Project ManagementClient Relationship ManagementBusiness Development SkillsCommunication SkillsLeadership Qualities

Required

B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering field is required
NY State Professional Engineering license is required
At least 15 years' experience of increasing levels of project and client responsibilities for public sector water and wastewater projects
A successful track record of managing engineering projects is required
Client relationships and extensive experience delivering engineering projects for NYCDEP is required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong client retention and business development skills
Strong leadership qualities with emphasis on the ability to coach, mentor and develop staff

Preferred

M.S. Degree is preferred
Experience working with other public and private water utilities in the Northeast is preferred
