Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

Manage AWS infrastructure to ensure security, scalability, and cost efficiency
Improve monitoring & observability using DataDog for proactive issue detection
Empower developers by standardizing and commoditizing infrastructure, making it available via self-service methods like GitOps, APIs, UIs, etc
Enhance CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Github and AWS services for smooth deployments
Lead containerization efforts with Kubernetes to improve efficiency and scalability
Optimize cloud performance by tuning resources for better speed and cost savings
Troubleshoot complex issues quickly across AWS environments
Implement security best practices to meet compliance and data protection standards
Stay up-to-date on cloud technologies and recommend improvements
Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of learning and collaboration
Work cross-functionally to build AWS-based solutions that meet business needs

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
4 years of experience in Cloud/Site Reliability Engineering
Strong AWS expertise, including security, performance tuning, and cost management
Hands-on experience with DataDog, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
Proficiency in automation & scripting (Python, Bash)
Solid grasp of networking, cloud security, and CI/CD best practices
Proven leadership & mentoring skills to guide teams through complex challenges
Excellent communication skills—able to explain technical concepts clearly
