Responsibilities
Develop and maintain embedded software for microcontroller & embedded Linux systems, ensuring reliability, safety, and performance
Write hardware drivers that interface with spacecraft sensors and actuators such as IMUs, reaction wheels, and star trackers
Collaborate with the avionics team to integrate software with embedded systems and peripherals
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and documentation
Troubleshoot and debug software issues, both independently and as part of a team
Adhere to industry standards and best practices for embedded software development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Experience in embedded software development, preferably in aerospace or a related field
Proficiency in programming languages such as Rust, C, or C++
Familiarity with ARM processors and embedded Linux
Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, I2C, and RS422
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15) or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
