The role involves accounting research, data analysis, documentation related to technical accounting projects, and enhancing internal controls and accounting policies.

Responsibilities

Research, analyze, document, and present conclusions, in accordance with authoritative accounting literature, on significant accounting and reporting matters, including the adoption of new accounting standards

Monitor and update internal controls over financial reporting (“ICFR”)

Enhance the quality of account reconciliations through a structured quality assurance process

Update accounting and reporting policies and procedures to ensure efficient compliance with U.S. GAAP and proper management reporting

Participate in projects to enhance efficiency during the monthly accounting cycle

Support special projects and other tasks assigned by the manager

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP

Experience with technical accounting research and documentation

Proficiency in data analysis and financial reporting

Ability to evaluate and update internal controls and accounting policies

Experience in enhancing accounting processes and quality assurance

Strong communication and presentation skills

Preferred

Master's degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA or equivalent certification

Experience with accounting software and ERP systems

Familiarity with the adoption of new accounting standards
