Mechanical Design Engineer
Critical Facility Group (CFG) specializes in the design, operation and construction administration of data centers and critical facilities. They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design mechanical systems, manage engineering design projects, and ensure effective communication with project teams. The role involves creating CAD models, conducting inspections, and preparing technical reports.

Responsibilities
Designing mechanical systems for building construction
Engineering calculations and specifications
Creating 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models in Revit
Managing engineering design projects
Traveling to project locations
Perform system assessments and prepare technical reports
Review submittals, RFIs and contractor proposed change orders
Conduct site observations
Assist with construction site visits as required for observation
Answering contractor questions
Representing the owner in preparing punch lists
Create and develop planning and design concepts for projects
Prepare presentation drawings and otherwise assists in presentations both internally and externally
Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Revit Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
Experience with Project Management
Familiar with all related codes and standards
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Effective communication skills with project teams
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Preferred
Experience in facilities or data centers is a plus
Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
