Responsibilities

Candidate will assist engineering and administrative staff with such tasks as: Data processing and management using GIS to support hydrologic and hydraulic modeling

Preparing spreadsheets, graphs, and figures for design reports

Preparing design and construction plans, specifications, quantity take-offs and construction estimates

Assisting with field work for data collection, site inspections and observations

Building surface models in AutoCAD Civil3D

Supporting Project Managers with various tasks to advance and track project progress

This internship is with the local Water Resources group, but there may be opportunities to assist in other disciplines in the office such as Geotechnical, Transportation, and Environmental Services

Required

Candidates should be highly motivated and dependable students who are taking or have taken water resources and other civil engineering courses
