Veracity Software Inc is looking for a qualified individual to assume a key role as Systems Services and Support Analyst within the Electronic Data Transmissions team. This role involves the analysis of incidents, monitoring of the environment, and responding to user request tickets, while also supporting file transmissions between the Workplace Investing division and third parties.

Responsibilities

Participates in a 24x7 on-call rotation and handles stakeholder escalations
Analysis of incidents and abends
Monitoring of the environment
Responding to user request tickets
Implementation, maintenance, and support of file transmissions between WI and third parties and the systems that enable them

Qualification

FTP/SFTP/AS2/NDMPython scriptingBatchData supportMainframe technologiesCustomer service skillsAnalytical skillsCommunication skills

Required

3-5 Years of working experience and strong knowledge of FTP / SFTP / AS2/ NDM and other managed file transmission protocols
Experience with batch and data support activities using JCL, COBOL, DB2 and various mainframe technologies such as Control-M, TSO, ISPF, and SQL
Experience with Python scripting and automation
Proven ability to script mainframe automation with REXX and other mainframe tools
Prior application and batch operations and support experience that demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills
Phenomenal customer service skills and customer satisfaction orientation
Strong oral and written communication skills
Availability to provide some off-hours /weekend on-call coverage as required
