Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain efficient, reusable, and scalable server-side code using Kotlin, Typescript (for backend development and requires handling a complex central codebase)
Support production applications including on-call responsibilities
Develop robust and secure RESTful APIs
Help improve, expand and maintain our acquisition, applicant and customer APIs
Design and implement database schemas with a focus on data consistency, integrity, and optimization
Optimize and maintain database performance for high-volume applications
Work with the engineering and product team to help bring the features on our ambitious roadmap to life for our customers

Required

Experience as a backend developer with a focus on Kotlin
Experience with TypeScript as a backend developer
Experience with React (at least 6 months)
Experience with database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc)
Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and continuous integration tools
Experience with GitHub copilot or Gemini
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation
