BHA Accountancy Services is an educational organization that integrates behavioral support services for students with emotional and behavioral disorders. They are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide school-based occupational therapy services to facilitate students' educational programs.

Responsibilities

Coordinate occupational therapy with school personnel and other appropriate specialists to develop the Individual Education Plan (IEP), measurable goals and incorporate specially designed instruction into IEP's as well as participation in relevant conferences

Develop specific activities toward the implementation of therapy techniques

Establish, collect, and assist with the referral process, review of records, documentation of therapy and screening, evaluations, and report writing

Utilize appropriate therapy techniques to manage therapy services as well as adaptation and termination of procedures

Contributes toward the development and maintenance of an environment which is non-threatening, safe, and nurturing and where the students feel respected, accepted, and welcomed

Provides supervisor with data and continuous feedback concerning student progress

Responds positively to supervision and suggestions for improvement

Understands and maintains confidentiality in all matters

Performs other duties as assigned by the administration
