They are seeking a part-time Psychiatrist to conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and coordinate with clinical staff to support client recovery efforts.

Responsibilities
Include doing psychiatric evaluations and follow ups, reviewing labs, monitoring blood levels, medication management, preparing discharges (physician orders, scripts)
Provides support and resources to the clinical staff as needed
Coordination with clinical staff and the primary care physician when appropriate
Responsibility to coordinate and complete the peer review process
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Board Certified Psychiatric- Mental Health
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Psychiatric Medicine
Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques
Awareness and understanding of regulating bodies (CARF, Office of Mental Health, DDAP)
Strong background in Psychiatric or D&A and Co-Occurring Disorders
Knowledge of HIPPA laws, state licensing regulations, trainings as required
Strong computer skills required in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
