The role involves delivering individualized therapy, conducting assessments, and collaborating with school teams to help students overcome communication barriers and achieve academic success.

Responsibilities

Provide direct, high-quality speech and language therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, as mandated by their Individualized Education Service Programs/Individualized Education Programs (IESP/IEP)

Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and evaluate speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

Develop and implement creative and effective treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student

Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and other school professionals to create a holistic and supportive learning environment

Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all services, progress, and outcomes in compliance with DOE and Knowledge Road standards

Actively participate in IESP/IEP meetings, offering expert insights and recommendations to guide student progress
