The intern will work alongside data scientists and AI engineers to develop innovative solutions and gain hands-on experience in applying machine learning techniques to solve real business use cases.

Responsibilities
Conducting R&D on GenAI and data-driven solutions for business problems
Running evaluations comparing multiple models and techniques
Extracting and processing data from both structured and unstructured sources (SQL and no-SQL databases, S3, vector databases, etc.)
Assisting in developing prototypes of GenAI tools with intuitive user interfaces in partnership with Compliance and Information Security
Collaborating with the team to understand project requirements and translating them into technical solutions
Documenting models, algorithms, and processes
Qualification
Required
Pursuit of a bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative discipline
Cumulative GPA of 3.5 and above
Strong programming skills in Python or other relevant languages
Experience or coursework in machine learning, data analytics, natural language processing, or artificial intelligence
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Enthusiasm for staying current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning
Interest in pursuing a future career at a premier alternative asset financial services firm
