Research Associate Antibody Discovery & Library Design
The Institute for Protein Innovation (IPI) is a nonprofit research organization advancing protein science to improve human health. The Research Associate will assist in advancing the antibody discovery pipeline by conducting experiments, coordinating project schedules, and maintaining detailed records of experimental data.

Responsibilities
Conducting experiments and working on various research problems
Participating in a wide variety of ongoing scientific projects within the team
Coordinating scheduling, product delivery and data sharing across the Antibody Platform teams
Maintaining detailed records of experimental protocols and data in an electronic laboratory notebook in accordance with the Institute’s policy
Troubleshooting routine technical problems
Qualification
Required
Experience with basic microbiology, protein biochemistry, and molecular biology techniques such as microorganism culture, PCR, and electrophoresis
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills and highly attentive to details
Strong verbal and written communications skills required
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate within a team-based environment is required
Enthusiastic team member with strong commitment to IPI's mission and a desire to conduct impactful science
B.S. or M.S. in a life sciences or biological field of study is required
Preferred
Experience with phage and yeast display, flow cytometry, LIMS and electronic notebooks desirable and helpful, but not required
