Responsibilities

Develop embedded control requirements from system-level performance and functional needs
Design and implement leverageable control features for various electrified powertrain architectures using model-based development (MATLAB Simulink, Stateflow)
Perform virtual product development for system optimization, functional testing, and performance verification
Validate control features through simulation, lab testing, and machine-level development using CAN and Ethernet-based development tools
Analyze and interpret test data, identify root causes of performance issues, and document control functionality
Collaborate closely with global engineering teams and process partners to deliver high-quality embedded solutions aligned with project goals

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline
5+ years of relevant controls/embedded systems experience (or 2+ years with an advanced degree)
Strong background in automotive, hybrid, or electric powertrain systems
Model-based controls development using MATLAB Simulink and Stateflow
Hands-on experience with virtual product development and performance optimization
Embedded control validation in lab, machine, or vehicle environments
Familiarity with control software development processes and tools
Experience with CAN-based development tools (Vector CANape, CANalyzer, ATI Vision)

Preferred

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional global teams
Clear technical documentation and communication skills
