Responsibilities
Managing the secondary market lending function of the loan production office, ensuring compliance with all banking regulations
Ensuring that borrowers are provided the required documents to comply with bank regulations, including but not limited to Good Faith Estimates of closing costs, and other Real Estate Settlement and Procedures Act (RESPA) documents
Educating staff on and enforce the policies and procedures established with regard to the Secondary Market lending function, including addressing complaints and resolving problems
Hiring and assisting in training loan production sales personnel, providing accurate and timely feedback on the progress of new personnel
Completing annual reviews for all loan officers under his supervision
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of two years Secondary Market lending experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and email software
Use of the Internet
Knowledge in Bank's secondary market policies and procedures
Knowledge in Loan platforms utilized by the secondary market department
Knowledge in Federal regulations concerning secondary market mortgage lending
Knowledge of reverse mortgage guidelines both FHA/HUD
Knowledge of Investors' guidelines
