Responsibilities
Responsible for the coordination of daily operations of one or more entity Healthcare Technology Management staff engaged in installing, inspecting, testing, monitoring, calibrating and repairing all OSF HealthCare patient care equipment
Sets work priorities, coordinates daily staffing, monitors screening procedure, and maintains supply of replacement parts
Responsible for reporting problems as it relates to patient care equipment to local facility leaders and/or the District Manager of Healthcare Technology Management
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED, Certification from AAMI/DOD, and 7 years of experience in Electronic, Mechanical, IT, or Healthcare industry OR Associate's Degree and 6 years of experience in Electronic, Mechanical, IT, or Healthcare industry
3 years of progressively more responsible experience, necessary to be able to install and repair computer/patient care equipment and lead work groups
Licensure/Certifications: Valid Driver's License
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Military Training in Technical Field
Imaging/Medical Device Experience
