Responsibilities

Conduct field investigations and soil sampling

Prepare boring logs, stormwater best management practice inspection reports, and daily site visit reports

Collect and submit samples for environmental testing

Perform analysis and testing

Assist in the preparation of reports and proposals

Collaborate with project teams to develop engineering solutions

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Participate in construction observation and monitoring

Obtain applicable certifications for erosion and sediment control inspections

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to prepare and maintain electronic field records efficiently and accurately

Proficiency in ACAD drafting software

Valid driver's license and able to provide own reliable transportation to local and regional project sites

Preferred

Master's degree in geotechnical engineering

Experience with geotechnical field investigations and construction observation

Dam safety engineering experience or interest

Experience with erosion and sediment controls

Interest in stormwater engineering, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, or environmental compliance
