Responsibilities

Supervise BCBAs and other staff in the coordination and direction of patient intake and discharge activities
Supervise BCBAs and other staff in the coordination and direction of assessment and treatment procedures
Observe assessment and treatment sessions and develop solutions when progress is insufficient
Review and provide final approval of session materials, session descriptions, and progress notes, as appropriate
Supervise BCBAs in the development and refinement of skill-acquisition programs
Supervise BCBAs in the development and refinement of behavior-reduction programs
Meet and collaborate with parents, school personnel, physicians, and other stakeholders to obtain input to ensure that programs are meeting the needs of customers
Provide state-of-the-art clinical and consultative services
Develop and guide research on the assessment and treatment of patients with feeding disorders or autism and related disorders
Publish research articles in peer-reviewed journals
Procure grant and contract funding for research
Oversee the development of presentations for local, national, and international conferences
Direct and oversee compliance issues and responsible conduct of research
Oversee the interviewing, hiring, and training of staff
Analyze data to maintain financial solvency
Develop, write, and implement policies and procedures for the program
May work with patients who vomit, or who engage in other forms of challenging behavior, such as aggression, self-injury, elopement, expulsion (spitting out foods or liquids during treatment), or property destruction

Required

Doctorate in psychology or behavior analysis
Licensed as NJ board-certified behavior analyst
American Heart Association BLS

Preferred

Experience supervising work with children with feeding disorders or autism and related disorders in an educational, instructional, or therapeutic setting
