Responsibilities

Oversee the cross-channel investment practice for the Integrated Marketing client teams and the retail media business
Create and drive best-in-class strategic media investment recommendations and negotiations that deliver against client objectives within online and offline channels
Deliver insight and direction on the retail media product roadmap
Develop and present marketplace updates to clients, including Television Upfront, Audio Upfront, and Cross Channel Landscape Review
Lead investment innovation and thought leadership
Accountability over the client’s budget portfolio across all channels and platforms
Provide inputs and guidance around campaign design, including requirements for success and optimal use of demand-side platforms
Work with the Marketing Science team to ensure tight coordination of campaign setup, adjustments, and optimization performance is efficient and effective
Work with the Strategy team to understand goals, address client needs, and communicate results and insights back to clients
Implement Business Intelligence tools and new capabilities (e.g., new supply & data sources, new media measurement techniques, etc.)
Help manage any client commitments, working with the accountability team to provide information necessary to facilitate reporting
Curation of client-focused data, tech, and custom content opportunities, plus client JBPs
Develop strong relationships with clients and cross Omnicom media agencies
Deliver thought leadership on the evolving marketing ecosystem and lead proactive insights on channel opportunities through both short-term and long-term business lenses
Able to effectively manage costs while exceeding performance and delivery goals
Excellent communication skills, ability to distill critical ideas
Track innovation within the industry, and evaluate and identify new partners and technology that will drive best-in-class channel strategies for OMD and our clients
Participate in New Business efforts
Demonstrate strategic insight to develop long-term execution plans from the client’s stated business objectives, implement those plans, and achieve critical metrics (KPIs) as defined by the client
Analytical ability to extract insight/actions from data and relate the story to the client’s business goals
Organizational and leadership capabilities to assign resources, track progress, assist in execution, and consistently plan programs
Effectively presenting strategic and tactical plans to clients, staff, and internal teams
Provide regular insight and training to challenge and develop junior team members
Review and update the end-to-end process as necessary to ensure operational excellence
Understanding of business concepts and client objectives to identify campaign expansion opportunities
Develop thought leadership pieces & case studies
Management of OMD & OMG mandates around compliance, buying practices, and training protocol
Possess a performance mindset, understanding how to quantify success for current and prospective clients with varying degrees of business goals
Guide staffing decisions and scope assessments that impact the overall health of the practice
Build SVP, President, and CMO-level client relationships to clearly communicate the OMD value on behalf of the practice

Required

12+ years' experience in investment, with a focus in digital, and/or product strategy and innovation
Experience working on retail accounts with an understanding of retail media networks (RMN's) and their capabilities
Future-forward thinker that can leverage AI to improve organizational output and deliver innovation across teams
Commercially minded individual who can demonstrate strong negotiation skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Outstanding ability to manage and develop a cohesive team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of stress tolerance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent relationship building with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple clients and concurrent projects
Strong communicator and presenter, able to present and articulate persuasive and cohesive presentations and points of view
Trusted advisor to senior client and be seen as a vital part of their team; represent the voice of the client within OMD
Highly analytical and capable of understanding marketing science and data concepts
High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
Strong business acumen and the ability to make highly impactful decisions in a timely manner

Be a proactive self-starter with experience leading accounts within an agency in an integrated fashion (collaboration, data sharing, co-leading efforts focused on client satisfaction, growth, performance outcomes vs KPI's)
Proven ability to stimulate change in the workplace and the capability to encourage excitement around adoption
Have polished presentation, communication, and analytical skills
Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth, helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning

Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
