Consumer Insights Associate
Crayola is a well-known company that focuses on creating art supplies for children. They are seeking a Consumer Insights Associate to develop and analyze consumer insights from primary research studies to inform marketing and sales strategies across the organization.

Responsibilities
Partners with marketing and other cross functional team members, providing insightful learning from consumer research to guide decisions
Conducts primary research with a variety of global audiences, including parents, kids, teachers, principals, and general consumers
Handles simpler and templated research studies independently; partners with manager on more complex studies to gain experience with new research methods and data analysis techniques
Develops survey instruments to meet business/client objectives, including question wording, question type, and survey flow/order
Programs surveys, including skip logic, display logic, quotas, randomization, flow, and implementing translations as needed
Develops analysis plan and analyzes quantitative data sets for insights and implications– testing for statistical significance, developing and analyzing crosstabs to assess differences by segments/subgroups
Manages fielding of quant surveys, including communicating with panel vendor and developing/implementing solutions to any issues that occur
Moderates focus groups, in-depth interviews, shop-a-longs, and other qualitative studies, and summarizes findings & implications
Maintains Advisory Panel database and manages recruiting for qualitative studies
Learns the Crayola business and keeps current with trends and news related to competition, consumers, education, government and their impact on Crayola
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
At least 2 years' experience in marketing research/consumer insights
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Ability to communicate internally and externally
Excellent oral and written presentation skills
PC knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Proficient in programming surveys using tools like Qualtrics
Able to work independently and with teams
Ability to travel
Ability to work some evenings is required
Preferred
MBA/Master's Degree
Some experience using AI tools to mine unstructured data (e.g., survey open ended responses)
Some experience moderating focus groups/interviews
