Responsibilities
Collaborate with project architects and project managers to develop and modify architectural documents, ensuring design intent is carried through drawings, elevations, sections, and details
Produce and review drawings and presentations (2D, 3D, and physical models) to support client and project team reviews
Translate design intent into accurate, high-quality technical documents
Mentor junior staff, providing guidance on design and technical solutions; may supervise small project teams
Coordinate project information with clients, consultants, and contractors
Support team leaders in ensuring documentation across all phases meets HOK Best Practice Standards and QA/QC requirements
Conduct product and code research; integrate findings into project documents
Participate in project planning, scheduling, and construction administration support
Manage project data, ensure proper documentation standards, and maintain archives
Contribute to sustainable design by integrating green practices and supporting HOK’s commitment to environmental responsibility
Foster strong communication within project teams and with external partners
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in architecture required
3+ years of professional experience in architectural design or equivalent combination of education/experience
Preferred
Sports + Recreation + Entertainment projects experience strongly preferred
LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred
