Required
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field from a regionally accredited college or university
One year teaching graphic design or related courses in an adult education environment such as at a university or college level or in continuing and professional development. Workshops and seminars will be considered on a case-by-case basis. (Graduate school teaching appointment or assistantship experience may be considered.)
Minimum three years of demonstrated practical work experience in design or related fields
Evidence of an ongoing and active professional work record presented via a portfolio
Preferred
Master's degree or equivalent in graphic design or a related field
Two years of teaching at a university or college level beyond graduate school; experience with developing multi-faceted professional design campaigns; expertise in two or more of the following areas: Print Design and Typography, Data storytelling / information graphics, Responsive web design, Responsive identities, Information architecture, GUI design, Motion graphics
