Arkansas Children's is a tobacco-free workplace and an equal opportunity employer. They are seeking a Radiology Technologist I who will develop skills to perform quality radiographs and provide patient care, working in both hospital and off-site clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities
Demonstrates increasing knowledge of correct & acceptable radiographic techniques & positioning, in operating all equipment and sets up room/equipment appropriate for exam ordered
Is learning to complete patient screening with attention to pregnancy, contrast and any contraindications, as well as understanding and utilizing contrast forms for contrast exams
Utilize designated communication devices and respond appropriately
Demonstrates increasing knowledge of all emergency equipment/supplies
Raises concerns related to patient care, patient safety or patient satisfaction to supervisor and leadership in a timely manner
Ensures work area is properly maintained
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma
Direct - No Experience Required
American registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT R) - Must obtain within 12 months of hire date or eligibility
Radiologic Technologist License (RTL) - Arkansas Department of Health
Preferred
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
