Responsibilities
Develop, review, and enhance policies and procedures in accordance with the Investment Company Act, the Investment Advisers Act and other applicable regulations, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Coordinate and communicate with key stakeholders across the firm in connection with the development and/or maintenance of compliance policies
Track, monitor and analyze regulatory changes and updates related to the Investment Company Act and the Investment Advisers Act
Coordinate and prepare the Global Chief Compliance Officer’s reports for Boards, management and regulatory authorities, as required
Develop and coordinate the distribution of compliance communications
Work on ad hoc projects and other initiatives as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a compliance role in the asset management industry, with a focus on the Investment Company Act and the Investment Advisers Act
Proven experience developing compliance policies and procedures
Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise policies, procedures, and reports
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different levels of the organization
