This role involves diagnosing and analyzing issues across various systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and performing hands-on troubleshooting and repair of hardware systems.

Responsibilities
Rapidly diagnose and analyze issues across structures, actuators, controllers, harnesses, sensors, and firmware to meet manufacturing takt time requirement
Review clips and CAN data using CANAPE/PCAN Explorer, run robot routines, and debug electronics via scoping, soldering, and probing
Record issues, track trends, and report metrics to inform design improvements
Initiate repair requests with technicians to follow through the fix
Validate repairs by running robot routines and build up the product service manual by documenting diagnosis and repair procedures
Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repair of hardware systems
Utilize debugging tools such as multimeters, soldering tools, and oscilloscopes
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and firmware engineering to implement improvements
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Qualification
Required
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or Mechatronics, or equivalent experience
Proven proficiency in product-level issue diagnosis and root-cause analysis
Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing hardware systems
Experience with CAN, EtherCAT and Linux command line environments
Familiarity with debugging tools such as multimeters, soldering tools, and oscilloscopes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred
Experience with AI robotic systems, environmental factors, and user support is a plus
