Responsibilities

Initiates, coordinates, and executes a variety of administrative and analytical tasks in support of Conference and Event Services accounts
Prepares agreements and contracts
Maintains account relationships
Oversees development, evaluation, and coordination of an event setup to arrival
Inputs data into the campus scheduling software, catering software, project management software as well as various spreadsheets and forms
Recommends product and service enhancements
Adheres to internal communication methods
Follows customer service standards and coordinates product and service deliveries
Uses independent judgement to make decisions, interpret and apply department, division, campus and system-wide policies and procedures
Performs research when needed
Prepares and analyzes budgetary and other financial reports
Provides support documentation and provides general office assistance in support of the office
Handles multiple work priorities and is accountable for own work results
Engages in significant customer contact and information coordination, involving interaction with all levels inside and outside the university
May deal with sensitive and confidential information

Required

Bachelor's degree and/or the equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs
Intermediate proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications required
Significant amount of customer contact and information coordination
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Ability to use independent judgement to make decisions
Ability to interpret and apply department, division, campus and system-wide policies and procedures
Ability to perform research when needed
Ability to prepare and analyze budgetary and other financial reports
Ability to provide support documentation and general office assistance

Preferred

Working knowledge and experience in event and conference coordination
Knowledge of Google Suite, PeopleSoft and a variety of web-based scheduling packages such as 25Live, Social Tables, Trello, and Caterease
