Driving research initiatives and contributing to groundbreaking discoveries
Engaging in pioneering research in intelligent video analytics to enhance smart home applications
Inventing, refining, and adapting state-of-the-art techniques in computer vision and machine learning
Overseeing complex projects and mentoring junior team members
Qualification
Required
PhD in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
8+ years of work experience in a relevant field
Solid research background and experience in computer vision and deep learning
Demonstration of both the breadth and the depth of knowledge and track record of solving challenging problems in real-world scenarios
Proven programming skills in Python, C, C++, and experience with frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
Experience managing technical team including research scientists and ML Engineering
Excellent written and oral communication skills are also required
Preferred
General knowledge of system architectures and distributed systems
Hands-on experience in model deployment using tools such as ONNX, OpenVINO, or TensorRT
Familiarity with techniques like model distillation and quantization for optimizing machine learning models
