New Grad, Entry LevelThe University of Virginia Department of Athletics is seeking Stats Crew Personnel to assist in the compilation of statistics during intercollegiate events. The role involves serving as the official statistician, preparing reports, and providing information to media and event staff.

Responsibilities
Serve as the official statistician for designated NCAA events
Assisting official stats crew as a spotter
Preparing official participation reports
Providing statistical information to broadcast talent and media
Distribution of game day media credentials
Providing in-game information over press box internal public address systems
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
Some working knowledge of the sport program to be supported
Preferred
Strong organizational and customer service skills
Ability to communicate with athletics staff, officials and other event staff while working as part of a team
Some knowledge of the rules of various intercollegiate sports and NCAA rules and regulations associated with these sports
For some positions, experience with Genius Sports and/or The Automated Scorebook (TAS) is required
