Responsibilities
Perform systems design in a cross-functional engineering team to develop and launch new products
Create, evaluate, and implement system architectures including interface definition and description
Develop and conduct system test procedures and methods for system verification and validation
Utilize analysis and simulation tools to aid in system design and test
Conduct cross-functional design reviews
Follow Gentex system engineering processes and ensure products meet Gentex quality standards
Stay current with technology, manufacturing, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement of products, process, and methods
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
2+ years of relevant engineering work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
Professional work experience in new product development
Professional work experience in Systems Engineering
