Manager - Value Management Office

Responsibilities
Strategic Framework Ownership: Standardize and own the end-to-end value management lifecycle, by developing a data-driven system for prioritizing and evaluating strategic investments
Investment Decision Support: Empower leadership at Portfolio Syncs and Strategic Portfolio Reviews with objective, data-driven insights that enable confident prioritization and "pivot, persevere, or stop" decisions on high-value initiatives
Data Integrity & Executive Transparency: Establish a "single source of truth" for the enterprise by instituting a rigorous data governance framework and managing automated dashboards that provide real-time visibility into portfolio health and OKR progress
Portfolio Throughput Optimization: Identify systemic bottlenecks across the enterprise by analyzing portfolio flow metrics (e.g., Flow Time, Efficiency) to help improve delivery speed and throughput
Financial Alignment: Partner with Portfolio Operations to ensure investment spend aligns with strategic intent through the modeling and tracking of Lean Budget Guardrails
Capability Building & Coaching: Serve as the enterprise Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Value Management, uplifting the proficiency of Epic Owners and Portfolio Managers in creating high-quality business cases and tracking post-delivery value
Strategic Partnership: Collaborate across the Product Operating Model to ensure VMO standards are seamlessly integrated into the daily workflows of Product and Portfolio leadership
High-Performance Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a multi-regional team of seven specialists across the US, UK, and India, fostering a data-driven culture focused on operational excellence and continuous learning
Qualification
Required
10+ years in Portfolio Management, Project Management, or Consulting, with at least 2 years in a leadership/managerial role
Proven ability to conduct deep quantitative analysis and translate complex data into actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders
Strong mastery of Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) frameworks and their application in enterprise governance
Experience defining data and reporting requirements for enterprise tools; hands-on experience with Jira Align or Looker is a significant advantage
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred
Relevant certifications: PMP, PgMP, or SAFe Agilist
Experience partnering with a Lean-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE)
