Start in 2026 SpringChestnut Health Systems is offering an unpaid internship for undergraduate or graduate students for the Spring 2026 semester. The intern will assist the McLean County Prevention Coordinator with various responsibilities related to community outreach and prevention efforts.

Assist the McLean County Prevention Coordinator with: coordination of training events for the coalition and community
Collecting and analyzing data
Maintaining social media efforts (Facebook and website updates)
Newsletter development
Community outreach
Material prep and production
Research on evidence-based practices
Projects that may be supported include: Narcan education and distribution, BN Parents, and ROSC (Recovery Oriented Systems of Care)
Qualification
Required
Active undergraduate or graduate level student for the Spring 2026 school semester
Self-directed
Willing to engage community stakeholders in prevention efforts aimed at reducing underage drinking and other drug use in the community
Preferred
Recovery experience
