Responsibilities
Provide gentle sound bowl sessions at the bedside for hospice patients in homes, care centers, or inpatient settings
Use calming, harmonic tones to support relaxation, emotional ease, and spiritual comfort
Adjust tone, rhythm, and length of sessions to honor each patient’s physical, emotional, and spiritual state
Offer a quiet, compassionate presence during visits for both patients and family members
Coordinate visits with the hospice care team and follow patient care plans and safety guidelines
Qualification
Required
Experience with sound bowls, sound therapy, or mindfulness-based healing practices
Compassionate, sensitive, and calming presence
Comfort working with individuals facing serious illness and those at the end of life
Ability to adapt your approach to meet patient preferences and needs
